Covi Super Show 15-17 March 2019

ALM Group is all about the new release in 2019.

At the Covi show this year things will look a little different on site 333, where you will find Hamilton-based ALM Group. This year it is all about new releases, with the launch of the new generation Allisee Supremacy and updated models of the popular Avida Esperance and Birdsville motorhomes. Also, never seen before in New Zealand, Millard caravans, the new model Tabbert Vivaldi caravan and also the release of two new brands to the ALM Group from Germany - Knaus and Fendt.

The 2019 Allisee Supremacy, built on the new Mercedes 519 Sprinter has been given a refreshing new look which is very exciting to see.

The MY19 version of Avida's most popular motorhomes the Esperance and the Birdsville have been given a complete overhaul with a new modern look and practical changes being made.

Millard Caravans from Australia made their first appearance at last years show with an amazing response so there will be more models and sizes available this year.

At the recent Dusseldorf show in Germany, Tabbert Caravans released the much anticipated new Vivaldi 685DF Finest Edition caravan to rave reviews and ALM Group will have this available at the show.

The biggest news for ALM Group at this Covi show though is the launch of two new caravan brands never seen before in New Zealand - Knaus and Fendt. Both of these brands along with Tabbert represent the absolute best that Germany has to offer in caravanning.

ALM Amici Raduno Weekend

Amici Raduno is the Italian phrase meaning "meeting of friends" which made it the obvious choice for the name of the inaugural Auto Leisure and Marine Group's Owners weekend. The idea for a weekend dedicated to their owners, was a way of acknowledging their support for ALM Group over the years. This weekend was for all owners regardless of which brand of RV vehicle they had bought from ALM Group.

The response to the invitation from clients far exceeded the expectations of the staff at ALM Group with over 100 people attending.

The weekend was held at AJ's Park in Horahora, which is a fantastic park over venue situated on the lake, and with plenty of space for everyone. Fun, laughter and comradery were the theme over the weekend. Friday saw a casual meet and greet with a cheese tasting from Hawkes Bay's Origin Earth Cheeses. A relaxed evening was had by all enjoying the majestic views from the Piarere Ski Club which was the base for all activities over the weekend.

Saturday saw the continuation of good weather despite all forecasts to the contrary. Group activities saw people enjoying a bike ride along the scenic river trails, a farm tour and pie tasting at Lake Farm, hosted by Colin and Keryn Brown, craft activities including beeswax wraps and produce bags will be a hit in the RVs for a long time to come. The afternoon was spent hysterics over the antics arising from the 'ALM Group Motorhome Olympics' the participation of all guests in this activity no matter what the physical abilities were was awe inspiring to see.

The evening and weekend culminated in a Christmas Themed Function with dinner, drinks, dancing and prize giving. To see the effort put into some of the costumes for the evening was impressive and comical. Feedback from the weekend was by all accounts overwhelmingly positive with a fantastic time had by all.

Auto Leisure and Marine group would like to thank all those that supported this weekend from clients and staff to the companies that donated items for the weekend such as Covi Insurance, NZMCA, Dometic, Camec, Igham Prestige Mercedes and Piarere Ski Club.

ALM wins Australasian Award

Recently Avida Motorhomes and Caravans held their annual Australasian Dealers Conference in Queenstown. This is the first time that this has been held in New Zealand and was a great chance to showcase one of our most beautiful regions to a large contingent from both Avida and their Dealer Network.

At the conclusion of the conference Avida held their annual awards evening, this year Auto Leisure Marine Group (Avida Hamilton) was awarded the prestigious Motorhome Customer Satisfaction Dealer of the Year award. This is awarded to the dealer that has reached a high percentage of sales and most importantly a very high customer satisfaction score from their customers.

This award highlights ALM's commitment to delivering quality customer service to all of its valued clients and also reflects its work in growing the Avida brand in New Zealand. This is the first time the award has gone outside of Australia. This was a fantastic achievement for ALM to be recognised on the international stage.
